To avoid flooding everyone with mail messages, I'll be using this page to announce updates to the software libraries, include files, etc, which are not of critical urgency. Please take a look at it periodically, or before you begin a new software project.

New Common Software Library!

I've added a new library to the set of common libraries: the STRING library. It contains string manipulation routines. It occurs immediately above the MATH library in the hierarchy of common libraries, ie, just before the end.

String Equivalents to Enumerated Types in bandpass_defs.inc and class_defs.inc

In conjunction with Jane, we're adding string equivalents to the enumerated types in these files. For bandpass_defs.inc, this functionality will replace the subroutine convert_magcode_to_string.
